WOSPR Investigation
Protocols and Guidelines
Most investigations last approximately 3-6
hours.
- Arrive at the client's premises 15-20 minutes prior to
start of investigation. This allows for a meet up, team briefing and
to issue ID cards which are worn at all times during the investigation
- Note the prevailing weather conditions.
- Speak to the client and check about reported activity and
any potential Health & Safety issues.
- Two investigators to conduct a series of baseline tests
i.e. EMF readings, ambient air temperature and humidity reading which are
then recorded onto a log sheet.
- Several investigators to setup equipments, any
experiments, etc. The setup period can take up to 1 hour depending on
the location and complexity of the investigation requirements.
- All the team members are briefed on their role for the
duration of the investigation.
- The DVR system must be manned at all times, except during
the assigned break period. The DVR operator will be in radio contact
at all times during their assigned "watch" and will log anything out of the
ordinary.
- The investigators with split into their assigned teams as
required. Each team will have 1 radio to be carried by the team
leader.
- Each team will carry out it's assigned tasks e.g. EVP
sessions, walkabouts, sit-down sessions, etc.
- Any noteworthy occurrence to be passed on to base by
means of the radio system. Base will log this and note the time.
- If the investigation is a long one, then a short break
period will be arranged before hand by the Founder or Co-Founder.
- After the break period has concluded, the teams will swap
over.
- The teams will carry on with their assigned tasks as
before.
- After the investigation has concluded. everyone helps to
retrieve and pack away safely all the equipment, accounting for all of it.
- At this point we thank the client for their time.
- A quick team debrief, then vacate the premises.
- All ID cards will be handed back to the Founder or
Co-Founder.
